Captain Justen Simpton was born and raised on Galveston Island, spending his entire life navigating the waters of Galveston Bay. As a two-time cancer survivor and liver transplant recipient, he approaches life with gratitude and humor, putting God, family, others, and fishing in that order. USCG licensed and insured, Captain Justen holds a Master Captain’s license, bringing both professional expertise and a personal passion for the water to every trip.

With years of experience on Galveston Bay, Captain Justen has an intimate understanding of its tides, currents, and seasonal patterns. He specializes in targeting Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Black Drum, and Sheepshead, adjusting techniques and strategies to match the ever-changing conditions. His deep knowledge allows anglers of all skill levels to feel confident, informed, and fully engaged while learning new techniques and improving their skills.

The Boat

Your vessel for exploring Galveston Bay is a 23’ center console, spacious enough to comfortably accommodate up to five passengers. Equipped with all necessary fishing gear, including rods, reels, and a variety of lures, the boat is designed for both safety and functionality. Cold bottled water is provided onboard, and guests are welcome to bring additional beverages, including canned alcoholic drinks. To fish legally, a local fishing license can be easily obtained online or with guidance from Captain Justen, ensuring a smooth, enjoyable day on the water.
